CoHF Ramble and More...

A/N: So a few things. This post was written a few days ago but didn't upload so although it's still relevant some of the info is slightly old. I still haven't read CoHF but plan to - Amber

So City of Heavenly Fire is coming out in THREE DAYS. I don't think non-readers realise how incredibly short and long this feels. One one hand we're here thinking its rushing towards us too fast since this is the last of The Mortal Instruments (TMI) and as much as we have her other Shadowhunter series that have already been published and that are coming up..it won't be the same. And on one hand it seems impossibly far away since we're all itching to get our hands on it.

Yet hold up... I have to wait around a FREAKIN' YEAR to read it - WHAT?!

See.. I've got the rest of the series in paperback... and I'm slightly OCD about my books and don't want to have a hardback while the rest are paperback.BUT I won't be able to buy paperback for around a year OR buy both :( #thestruggleisreal

Also I need to read the The Infernal Devices (TID) as well since Cassandra Clare has revealed that some characters that appear in TID appear in CoHF and I want.. no NEED, to know what happens in those.

So hopefully I'll be able to get those soon because I'm dying here!!

*FROM THIS POINT ON ONWARDS THERE WILL BE SPOILERS FOR THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS SERIES*
Leave if you haven't read the TMI 1-5 and don't want to spoiled for this series.

So everyone still here's read all the books? Good

Cassandra Clare has revealed that at least SIX named characters are going to die.

Who predict is going to die:

1.Sebastian- Because is that piece of sh** doesn't die...
2.Luke- He's heartbreaking enough but he's not a Jace or a Clary. I highly doubt that Jocelyn will die..
3&4. Jorden and Maia- Dying  together Tonks/Remus style
5. Either Alec or Magnus- I feel like they'll get back together and then one of them will die (as much as I love Malec)
6. Either Raphael or Maureen - Because she's been oddly mentioned in the recent books and Simon has lost his mark  (more on this later)

Ok so that's that for deaths.

One thing that I just realised that I completely skipped over was the issue with the Heavenly Fire bein in Jace. Currently Jace can barely touch Clary but there have been mentions of a make out scene between them (though I have no idea at what point in the book this happens).

And what about the Seelie Queen? She ( and the faeries) have  been oddly mentioned, especially in the more recent books so maybe she/they will help Jace with the heavenly fire? Maybe?

One thing I definietey need to cleared up in the last book is the whole Maureen thing. I don't believe for a second that she actually killed Camille - she's way too smart to be killed by a newbie vampire. So maybe she faked her death- I mean, no one would suspect her if weird things started going on since everyone would think she's dead. But there has to be something going on with Maureen. She was kinda just a side character- someone who we didn't really pay attention to. But for her to get a plot twist like she did near the end of CoLS, there has to be something big going on

(For this next bit make sure you've watch PolandBananasBooks' video about theories for Isabelle Lightwood in CoHF). If you've watched the video above about Izzy, what do you think is going on with her parentage and with Robert's affair? I feel like the possibility of her being Robert's lovechild doens't seem plausible. BUT!

What about her being Maryse and Valentine's child. Although at first this seemed crazy, the facts just seemed to stack up for this. Her eyes, Maryse's dialogue in CoB, her abilities and the fact that it wou;d tie it up nicely if Sizzy could live as long as each other (though this might not be the best of points, considering the whole Malec thing)

So what do you think? Comment your theories and ideas below

See you soon,

Crazy Hunger Games ramble

Hey guys!

So as much as I told myself I would be uploading a book recommendation/favourites next, the photography needs some work and  wouldn't want to put up something I'm not happy with.

So this isn't really an actual; topic as such...more of a scary thought/hunger games comparison to real life. Obviously this isn't an ACTUAL comparison so if that's what you're looking for, or you don't particularly want to read some of my rambles you might want to check out some of my other posts.

*ALERT - SPOILERS FROM THIS POINT ONWARDS* I wouldn't recommend reading if you haven't finished reading all three books in The Hunger Games trilogy

For those of you who are still here this post was inspired by something my history teacher said in one of our recent lessons. We were looking at the "witch" craze in the 17th century (many woman were punished for witchcraft then) and she gave us some possible reasons why it came about. I'm not going to go into all of them but one of them definitely got me thinking:

- Rulers coming up with a distraction from what they're doing ( or not doing)

Sound disturbingly familiar to a well known book? If it does, then you had the same brainwave as me. The Capitol used Katniss and Peeta as the distraction from the riots, death and threats that were looming on the whole of Panem. What does the government ( and regular people) do now? Blame foreigners politicians for the problems while other things happen behind closed doors.

If that isn't scary enough  can we just take a moment to think about how the current media showcases The Hunger Games movies- they focus of the "love triangle" or the relationship of Katniss and Peeta and skim over the harsh brutality of the story. I get that it helps with advertising but can we just remember that this is EXACTLY what happened in the books- again the love as a distraction.

I'm not saying this to start any crazy theories or to blame anyone- just to get this thought out of my system (I've been meaning to write this for days) and to just show that The Hunger Games isn't as far fetched as we might all think it to be.

Sorry that was a bit long and pointless- I really needed to get it out of my head.

Look for some new posts coming up soon discussing some trailing for the movie adaptation of books, female heroes and well as some recommendations *hint hint*

Bye for now,
